What We Do

    Community Living Supports

    ICF: Intermediate Care Facility
    Licensed by the federal government through Medicaid and certified by the Department of Health. Consumers with chronic medical, behavioral and physical challenges reside in homes throughout Connecticut. 24-hour, intensive staffing and enhanced nursing support is provided when needed.

    CLA: Community Living Arrangement (CT only)
    Licensed by the Department of Developmental Services in CT and provide up to 24-hour staff availability depending on consumer need.

    IRA: Individual Residential Alternative (NY only)
    Licensed by the Office of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities in NY and provide up to 24-hour staffing. Individuals with chronic medical, behavioral and physical challenges reside in homes in Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam counties in New York. 24-hour, intensive staffing and enhanced nursing support is provided when needed.

    Transitional Living Supports
    Provides individuals the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to become fully integrated into the community, maintain their own apartments and establish vocational choices. This interim support provides a safe, structured environment which promotes positive decision making, while transitioning individuals toward a successful, independent lifestyle.
