What We Do

    Clinical Supports

Ability Beyond Disability delivers individually tailored medical, psychological and rehabilitation programs to the people we serve making it possible for them to learn the life skills that make them a viable part of the community. The scope of medical needs of the people we serve varies widely, up to and including palliative care at the end of life. Services can include providing 24-hour nursing care in an Ability Beyond Disability residence for an individual with a severely limiting illness or disability; offering special dietary services; or promoting self-expression, independence, and work skills through psychology and behavioral supports, speech, physical, and occupational therapies.

Our programs promote maximum health and self-reliance: they ensure full community-based access to needed medical and rehabilitative care for people who have historically been at very high risk and significantly under-served.
