    Meet Jason

    Jason dreamed of having an apartment of his own in the community. A place he could decorate himself, invite his friends to visit…a place he could call home. With the help of Ability Beyond Disability Jason learned the skills he needed to live independently. Today, Jason maintains his own apartment, pays his bills on time does his grocery shopping and uses public transportation to get around town and to work; and he does this all with minimal support.

Meet Chris “As a young adult with special needs, Chris needed help transitioning into the adult world. He needed to learn the skills necessary for living and working in the community as independently as he possibly could and he learned these skills at one of our community living facilities, which provides behavioral and transitional supports for young adults.”
