    Ability Beyond Disability Proud to Partner with the Connecticut FilmFestival

    ~ Opening Night Film & Party ?The Wrecking Crew" Fundraiser for Ability Beyond Disability Presented by Union Savings Bank

     

    Ability Beyond Disability is honored to partner with The Connecticut FilmFestival as the benefitting charity for the festival’s Red Carpet Opening Night event on Tuesday, May 4th at 6:30pm at The Palace Theater in downtown Danbury. 

     

    “We are excited about the opportunity to partner with such a positive event in the community,” said Kim Bragoli, senior communication specialist at Ability Beyond Disability. “It not only allows us to help show our support of the film festival but also gives us the chance to educate the community on the work we do.”

     

    This year’s Opening Night on Tuesday, May 4, will feature the fabulous musical documentary “The Wrecking Crew”.  Directed and produced by Denny Tedesco, the film is a celebration of the musical work of a group of session musicians that provided back-up instrumentals to such legendary recording artists as The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby!  It will be hard to stay in your seats as you listen to hit tune after hit tune!  Come join us on this festive occasion!

     

    Ability Beyond Disability is headquartered in Bethel, CT and Mt. Kisco, NY and serves over 1,500 people with disabilities in the community each year.  Founded by a group of parents over 56 years ago, Ability Beyond Disability provides homes, training, jobs, therapies and the opportunity for people with disabilities to live a full life in the community.   Monies raised from the Opening Night reception will allow Ability Beyond Disability to continue to provide critical supports to over 1,500 individuals with disabilities in the community

     

    In addition to the opening night event, the Connecticut FilmFestival will feature 140 films, live bands, workshops, panel and keynote discussions and plenty of networking opportunities with screenwriters, directors and other industry insiders for 6 days and 6 nights from May 4-9 when downtown Danbury will be the happening place to be.

    Ability Beyond Disability is a 501{c} (3) organization headquartered in Bethel, Conn. and Mount Kisco, N.Y.
