Ability Beyond Disability Receives Patriot AwardAbility Beyond Disability has received the Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employees in the Guard and Reserve. Ability Beyond Disability was nominated for the award by Sgt Thomas Mboya, a resident of Waterbury and employee of Ability Beyond Disability since 2002. Sgt Mboya is a member of the Reserve and is scheduled to deploy overseas in January 2010. Below is the nomination from Sgt Mboya: Ability Beyond Disability under the exemplary leadership of Mr. Thomas Fanning, has always recognized my status as a member of the military. I cannot thank my company enough for all the moral support I have always received whenever I’m called for military duties. Unlike some organizations that require advance notice before an employee leaves, my company has always made my schedule flexible to suit my military commitments. As a way to gratitude to my company for full support of our military efforts, I hereby nominate Thomas Fanning to receive the award on behalf of Ability Beyond Disability.
