    Advanced Practice Registered Nurse CT

    Position Summary

    The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides direct care to consumers either in the Health Center or during home visits, always adhering to guidelines prescribed by licensure. This health care professional serves as a resource to all Institute personnel and works collaboratively with assigned registered nurses as well a primary care providers and subspecialists in the community in order to promote personal outcomes and best practice. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides formal and informal education to nursing staff and other direct care providers in order to ensure the highest level of health care for Institute consumers. 

     

    Masters degree is required. Must maintain APRN licensure in the State of Connecticut. Maintains current certification by American Nurses Association or other accredited body in the area of expertise.
